雲來書院宗旨
雲來書院將以校訓「義正道慈」之「慈」為主軸，發展書院特色。慈的教育目標為落實生命關懷，待人以誠，敬業樂群，增進群己關係。基本素養及核心能力為圓融的處世態度及與大自然和諧相處的觀念；關懷社會與服務人群的信念；溝通與協調能力。
本書院2021年度預計從生命教育著手，以自覺為主軸，輔以賦權之理念，讓同學從自我探索、自我關照為起點，思考群我關係，透過相關實做與參與，未來逐漸朝向自利利他的社會關懷方向發展。因本書院係以低年級學生為主，擬協助學生適應及發展大學生活：面對當下生活，支持其培養自立且尊重他人的生活態度與技能；面對未來生涯，則擬嘗試透過跨域探索，協助其發展職涯規劃。
Yunlai Residential College will take “compassion”, the fourth element of the university’s motto “Righteousness, Uprightness, Virtue, and Compassion”, as the main axis to develop its characteristics. The educational goal of compassion is to help students care for life, treat others with sincerity, be dedicated to work and enjoy the company of friends, and enhance the group-self relationship. The basic and core competencies are an appropriate attitude towards life and the concept of living in harmony with nature, the belief in caring for society and serving others, and the ability to communicate and coordinate.
In 2021, the college plans to embark on life education and take self-awareness as the main axis, supplemented by the concept of empowerment, so that students can start from self-exploration and self-care to think about the group-self relationship and then gradually move toward getting involved in self-interested and altruistic social care through relevant practice and participation. Because the college consists mainly of freshmen and sophomores, we intend to help students adapt to university life and develop themselves. We support them to cultivate the attitude and skills of both self-reliance and respect for others in their daily lives. We also try to assist them in developing career plans for the future through cross-domain exploration.
