Vision and Mission
1. The Vision of Chengzheng College
The college is committed to shaping a warm and friendly learning atmosphere, demonstrating the ability of helping others to promote students' learning and insight, and enhance self-awareness and self-understanding; and promoting social governance practices to benefit all, creating the warmth of humanity with the spirit of compassion, joy and generosity, and building a "knowledge-action unity" learning community and academic community with the concept of "practical application" to shorten the gap between learning and application, and to cultivate college students with complete personalities, combining knowledge and professionalism with social practice spirit and modern citizenship.
Through life experience exchanges, activity planning and design, interpersonal interaction, service learning and social practice, college tutors and students learn social care and practice spirit, as well as the liberal arts and humanities holistic education to cultivate tolerance. Actively cultivate students to become healthy, fair and just, and enthusiastic about public service, and cultivate talents in the field of social sciences who are both skilled in skills and morals, have awareness, mindfulness, fairness and justice, and become true multiplication people.
2. Mission of Chengzheng College
The mission of this college is to promote and improve students' physical, mental and spiritual qualities and personality and moral education. To achieve this mission, the college makes full use of the close interaction between college tutors and students, giving full play to the college tutors' responsibilities of preaching, teaching and answering questions, and cultivating students' self-awareness, self-understanding and self-satisfaction, and actively promoting students' dedication to service:
(i) Teach students to promote physical, mental and spiritual health, strengthen psychological quality and build high-quality soft power; and enable students to shine in college activities, so that students can fully display their talents in all aspects.
(ii) Cultivate students' seven soft powers to enhance core competitiveness: empathy, social care, civic responsibility, cross-domain integration, teamwork, leadership communication, international mobility and other capabilities.
(III) Cultivate students to understand the interpersonal interaction relationship of social structure, strengthen self-inner feelings and interpersonal communication; explore the possible future trends of social development.
(IV) With the goal of cultivating talents with broad vision, enrich students' humanistic and social qualities, and make them social leaders with all-round personality.
(V) Enhance students' exploration of the meaning of life, enhance their ability to solve public social problems and improve the quality of social life.
(VI) Enhance students' public care spirit and social practice ability, cultivate the concept of learning by doing and doing by learning, strengthen practical application and shorten the gap between learning and application, and produce practical learning results.
(VII) Promote teachers and students' care for the human society, uphold the school motto: Righteousness, Justice, and Compassion, and commit to social care and public service.
(VIII) Strengthen the exploration and research of public issues by teachers and students, from micro-individual psychology to macro-social trends, discover public affairs issues worthy of discussion, and try to develop cross-disciplinary courses, combining teaching with social practice to enhance the social responsibility of college students.
